Blueshirt Underground Radio was founded in June of 2009 and is now in its ninth year of being the ONLY live radio broadcast devoted to the New York Rangers! Hosted by lifelong Ranger fans Eddie "The Mouth" Gieck and Jim Schmiedeberg, Blueshirt Underground Radio is not some boring podcast that just drones on and on. It's a lively discussion of everything related to the Rangers, where nothing is off-limits. Rants about the players, announcers, and opponents are commonplace, and no one is off limits. It is a show that prides itself in dishing out tough love to the team it adores. Not only is the show funny and entertaining, it is also fully interactive. It's the only radio show you can call into any time of year and talk Ranger hockey. We love taking calls, and we also chat with you in our live chatroom throughout the show. In case you missed the 7,344 mentions about it during last night's MSG broadcast: Marc Staal had a baby. Well, presumably his wife handled the hard part. But apparently this baby is some sort of Jesus/John Connor hybrid, destined to save the world from Cyber-killers, poverty, locusts, and pestilence, judging from the way the MSG Clown College was bloviating. And oh yeah, the Rangers won. Again. That makes 4 straight. But Marc Staal had a baby, and we thought you should know. See you tonight!

The Rangers and Devils are squaring off a Yankee Stadium in the Bronx as part of the NHL Stadium Series, and Blueshirt Underground Radio if your best place to listen to a pregame show for the fans, and by the fans. If by the grace of the Internet Gods Blog Talk Radio decides to work tonight, Blueshirt Underground Radio will be on the air to talk New York Ranger hockey. Hopefully tonight this new fangled "talking over the interwebs" thingy will work better than it did the other night, but of course it all depends on the positioning of Blog Talk Radio's head in regards to their posterior. We'll be talking Ranger hockey (we hope), taking your calls (we hope), and mixing it up with you guys in the live chat throughout the show (we hope). It's a great radio program about a mediocre hockey team on a mediocre website, the perfect blend!

The Rangers swept through Florida, picking up a couple of wins, and Blueshirt Underground Radio is live at 9 PM to talk about it.
